I stood at my bathroom counter last Tuesday with another drawer of half-used serums, eye creams, and treatments I’d bought on impulse. If you know the feeling of reaching for product after product and still wondering if anything is actually working, this review might save you some shelf space.
Frøya Organics has been making waves in natural skincare since its US launch. The Complete System for Mature Skin sold out several times, reaching over 80,000 customers in just six months. I tested the full system myself, and eighteen months later I’m still using one product from it weekly.

About Frøya Organics
Frøya is named after the ancient Norse goddess of love, beauty, and fertility. The founder started the company because of a staggering fact: 85% of women experience hormonal imbalance at some point. She wanted products that met her own high standards — and wouldn’t disrupt hormones.
The formulas are water-free and cold-pressed with arctic botanicals, no heating of oils involved. They’re paraben-free, non-GMO, pesticide-free, free of hormone disruptors, and 100% natural. No fillers, no nonsense.

Why I Chose to Test It
I used to follow a ten-step skincare routine. These days I prefer as few products as possible — it’s the same philosophy I bring to my closet: less, but better.
If you’ve had concerns about retinol creams, chemical peels, or any treatment that left your skin irritated, Frøya might be worth a look. The brand also offers a 100% satisfaction-or-money-back guarantee, which is rare these days and makes it a low-risk investment.
The Complete System for Mature Skin
Here’s what’s in the box: four products designed to work together.
- Daily Insane Glow Balm (daily moisturizer)
- Ultra Cleanse and Revive Face Scrub (exfoliator, 2–3 times a week)
- Rosacea, Acne & Redness Stopper Balm (night treatment)
- Ultra Potent Dark Circles & Eye Bag Remover Balm (day or night)
The packaging is simple and understated — easy to recycle, and the tiny tins are travel-friendly. The instructions are straightforward: stop using other skincare products so Frøya’s potent formulas can work without interference.

How I Used It
Cleanse. Frøya recommends washing your face with just water and a microfiber cloth. For makeup removal, they suggest extra virgin olive oil. Simple enough.
Exfoliate. The Ultra Cleanse and Revive Face Scrub is the one you start with. It’s recommended two to three times per week — I began with twice since my skin is dry, sensitive, and rosacea-prone. Scoop a bit into your hands first (don’t let water get inside the jar), mix in a tiny amount of water, then massage onto your face for one to two minutes. It feels slightly coarse at first, but your skin feels soft and smooth right after.

Daily moisture. The Daily Insane Glow Balm goes on next. A tiny amount is all you need because the ingredients are so concentrated. If you’re used to applying generous amounts of product, it takes a moment to adjust — but once you feel how well it moisturizes, you’ll understand why less works better here. Use it morning and night if you like.

Redness treatment. The Instant Rosacea, Acne & Redness Stopper Balm is applied at night as a soothing, hydrating layer.
Eyes. The Ultra Potent Dark Circles & Eye Bag Remover uses wild-harvested plants — Arnica, Safflower, Marigold, Yarrow, Roman and German Chamomile — plus squalane oil. Apply day or night.
The Ingredients
Everything comes from wild-harvested arctic plants grown on Norwegian mountainsides. The flowers are naturally dried at 22 degrees for multiple days to preserve nutrients. There is zero water in the products, so every ingredient in the jar has a purpose.
Some of what’s inside: cold-pressed thistle oil, cold-pressed arnica oil, beeswax, cold-pressed hemp oil, cold-pressed rosehip oil, cold-pressed pomegranate oil, cold-pressed squalane oil, pomegranate CO2 extract, rosehip CO2 extract, natural vitamin E, marigold leaves CO2 extract, German chamomile CO2 extract, tea tree essential oil, cold-pressed jojoba oil, rosemary essential oil, lavender essential oil, frankincense essential oil, and eucalyptus essential oil. The scrub also contains rice flour, rose flour, and apricot kernel powder.
My Verdict
Is Frøya Organics legit? Yes.
I tested the full Complete System for Mature Skin when it arrived. Eighteen months later, only one product earned a permanent place in my routine: the Ultra Cleanse and Revive Face Scrub. I use it once or twice a week, I’ve repurchased it, and it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth every time.
It’s rare to find a brand that delivers real results while keeping things minimal and health-conscious — and the tiny packaging is a bonus for anyone who travels.
The Daily Edit
Skip the full system if you’re on a budget. The Face Scrub alone is worth repurchasing. Start there before committing to all four products.
Is Frøya Organics good for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin?
Yes — I have dry, sensitive, rosacea-prone skin over 40 and found the formulas soothing. The water-free, cold-pressed approach means fewer irritants than conventional skincare.
How often should you use the Face Scrub?
Two to three times per week. If your skin is sensitive, start with twice a week and adjust from there.

A Note from Margot
I once bought a ‘statement’ serum I used exactly three times. This scrub is the one that stayed — and honestly, my skin looks better for having less to deal with.
